Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Production Worker for the 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL location. The role involves working across Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout departments with a focus on manual labor and safety.

Initial pay is $20.45 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential. Benefits begin on day one, and overtime may be required. Relocation assistance is not offered, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in multiple plant departments (Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout) and perform varied manual tasks.
• Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy items as part of daily duties.
• No immigration sponsorship available; relocation not offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Troy, IL.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.
• Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.
• Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.
• Create barcodes and label finished products accurately.
• Cut materials using a band saw following safety procedures.
• Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.
