Job summary

Tenneco Inc. in Glasgow, KY is seeking an hourly Block Production Technician for the Curepress on the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate friction manufacturing equipment, including cure presses, baggers, and finish lines, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass skills and drug tests, and a team-oriented attitude. You’ll contribute to on-time production, data entry, and adherence to the Tenneco Way and core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification is required.
• Successful completion of basic skills test.
• Pre-employment drug screens, background checks, and physical demands testing required.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety rules with PPE.
• Operate production equipment per standard work.
• Record all data accurately in production logs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic maintenance as required.
• Meet daily production quantities and deadlines.
• Assist with other assigned jobs.
