Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead at our Cincinnati, OH facility. You will lead an assembly team, conduct daily huddles, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and delivery KPIs while coaching team members across multiple lines.

Responsibilities include training using demonstration-performance methods, maintaining the MDI board, updating efficiency trends, and cross-training staff within 60 days. Strong leadership and hands-on production experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing or assembly team.
• Ability to train team members using a structured method.
• Familiarity with lean daily management tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily team huddle to inform plans and motivate the team.
• Skillfully perform each position on the assigned line or area.
• Train team members using demonstration–performance method with supervision.
• Maintain the Manage for Daily Improvement (MDI) board and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery).
• Update efficiency trends and pareto charts daily.
• Review the MDI board during morning rounds and respond to questions.
• Maintain skills matrix and cross-train new team members within 60 days.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to maintenance promptly.
