Astronics, a leader in aerospace technology, seeks a Production Team Assistant for our Buffalo, NY facility. You will help coach frontline operators, coordinate with production and engineering, and manage training programs while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, supervision, and organizational support to sustain lean operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate core values and serve as role model for all associates.
• Communicate effectively with operators, management, process owners, and peers.
• Coordinate support efforts among production and engineering teams.
• Identify training needs and arrange for training activities in responsible areas.
• Monitor training progress and maintain the employee-training matrix.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient workflow on the production floor.
