Job summary

Stonhard, a world-leading manufacturer and installer of seamless floors, walls and lining systems, seeks a Production Supervisor to support the Director of Operations and Manager of Manufacturing in day-to-day plant activities.

This 2nd shift role (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) requires leading direct labor, enforcing safety, coaching staff, and ensuring SOPs are followed to drive improvements and productivity.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 3-5 years' direct experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Batch processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience with ERP systems; preferably BAAN LN.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply fractions, percentages, ratios.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Operations and Manager of Manufacturing in day-to-day plant operations.
• Leads direct labor employees and provides hands-on support as needed.
• Enforces safety regulations and drives Safety 1st engagement.
• Ensures SOPs and work instructions are followed and updated.
• Manages attendance, timecards, and performance reviews.
• Drives continuous improvement and OEE-related initiatives.
