Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Ladysmith, WI location on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). You will oversee a 15-20 person team in the Molding department, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and optimize labor efficiency in a flexible, build-to-order environment.

You will develop capacity plans, manage personnel, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring production targets are met and policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship not provided.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production supervision experience.
• Experience in electromechanical manufacturing and built-to-order environments.
• Customer service or technical support involvement is a plus.
• Experience with SAP business system; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15-20 employees across the 2nd shift.
• Maintain safe work practices and enforce policies.
• Hire and monitor performance; oversee training programs.
• Plan resource needs and schedule hours and time off.
• Communicate daily production requirements and targets.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (Kaizen); manage order transitions.
• Maintain and utilize complex manufacturing order systems.
