Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift for the Manitowoc, WI area. The role leads second shift manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met while developing a skilled team.

You will drive lean initiatives, supervise employees, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to sustain high performance and continuous improvement on the Manitowoc Ice line.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field; leadership experience considered
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety, quality systems, and workforce management
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant manufacturing operations by enforcing safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Direct daily production activities to meet schedule, efficiency, and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cost.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, MDI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing employees and team leaders.
• Manage performance, attendance, onboarding, training, and employee engagement.
• Lead root cause analysis, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
• Support new product introductions, process improvements, and plant initiatives.
• Communicate operational results, priorities, and expectations to employees and leadership.
