Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Production and Operations Management or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/job shop environment.
• Knowledge of LEAN concepts.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, comparator).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department personnel and their activities to meet department objectives; assign duties.
• Analyze and resolve work problems; control overtime and absenteeism.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Interview, select, and orient subordinates; ensure training and development.
• Conduct wage and performance reviews of subordinates at least annually.
• Maintain production and personnel reports and ensure safety, security, and housekeeping.
