Job summary

Sensical Inc. in Solon, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead a small team and ensure safe, high-quality output. You’ll organize daily workflow, coach employees, and drive continuous improvements while meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities include tracking metrics, enforcing SOPs and ISO-like controls, and maintaining a clean, efficient workplace. Previous manufacturing leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading employees in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to monitor and interpret daily production metrics.
• Strong ownership of shift performance, accuracy, and on-time completion.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and follow-through.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for the assigned department.
• Set clear expectations, assign work, and maintain production schedules and quotas.
• Meet productivity goals while protecting safety and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, identify issues, and drive improvements.
• Coach, train, onboard, and evaluate employees, including temporary staff.
• Promote a clean, organized workplace and a positive team culture.
• Maintain reports for production, quality, attendance, and scrap.
• Track schedules, material needs, orders, and monthly customer forecasts.
• Enforce company systems, policies, procedures, and ISO QMS.
• Communicate goals and results across all levels; develop product knowledge.
• Address performance or conduct concerns consistently.
