Vestis is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily production in our industrial laundry facility in the Minneapolis area. You will ensure safety, meet production goals, and supervise a team of workers, aligning with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Capability to work safely and conscientious manner in a fast paced, loud work environment with machinery.
• Proved record of work attendance.
• Capability of reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic Math reasoning skills.
• Lifting Ability; up to 50 pounds; Push/Pull Ability; up to 300 pounds assisted

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned area of production responsibility as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitors work activities in assigned area and ensures safety policies are followed.
• Trains new and existing employees on safe and efficient production and policies.
• Attends departmental and market center meetings to engage and complete education and training.
• Develops and maintains positive employee relations and applies company policies across the work group.
• Identifies production improvement strategies to enhance equipment and worker performance.
• Creates and supports a culture of adherence to market center standardization.
• Other duties as assigned by plant or production or general manager.
• Supervises departments: Receive and Soil Sort/Classification; Wash Dry Aisle; Garment Finishing/Sortation; Bundle and Distribution.
