Job summary

Vestis® is a leading provider of uniforms, workplace supplies, and related services in North America. The production supervisor will oversee daily production activities in an industrial laundry setting, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Reporting to the plant/production manager, you will train staff, monitor performance, identify improvements, and maintain positive employee relations while meeting production goals and profitability objectives.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic math reasoning required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with assistance.
• Strong safety awareness in a fast-paced, loud industrial laundry environment.
• Reliable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department's daily production activities and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Train and guide production workers on policies and best practices.
• Attend departmental and market center meetings for education and training.
• Identify and recommend production improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Ensure adherence to standards and procedures across the work group.
