Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Murfreesboro, TN to lead safety, quality and productivity on the shop floor. You will manage workflow, train staff, and maintain lean practices across the department.

Responsibilities include tracking metrics, communicating goals, and implementing improvements while promoting a safe work environment and efficient production processes for diverse print and packaging operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years production supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organization and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and facility policies are observed and followed.
• Maintain and monitor workflow by adjusting resources to meet daily output.
• Record departmental metrics and suggest production improvements.
• Communicate goals and standards to staff and sustain performance.
• Conduct training and participate in performance appraisals.
• Maintain 5S and lean tools to keep area organized.
• Assist with PPE usage and safety compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
