Job summary

Piston Automotive, part of the Piston Group, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead plant employees on the 2nd shift. You will plan, assign work, and implement policies to improve production methods and working conditions.

You will educate staff on safety, review daily requirements, and ensure training and adherence to standard work. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and timely communication between shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising plant employees in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to train employees on standard work instructions and safety policies.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to meet production and quality goals.
• Familiarity with scheduling, attendance, and shift communications.

Responsibilities

• Educates employees on plant safety requirements and ensures policies are followed.
• Aligns manpower to run assembly operations safely and efficiently.
• Ensures production employees are trained per standard work instructions.
• Leads and motivates production staff to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Conducts shift meetings to coordinate daily activities and communications.
• Coaches and administers corrective actions according to plant policies.
• Monitors equipment and progress, addressing issues to meet schedules.
• Completes daily safety, production, and quality reports.
