Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team of approximately 15 hourly employees. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 4+ years in production/supervision, strong leadership, and effective communication. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM ET; a discretionary annual bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of production manufacturing and/or manufacturing supervisor experience.
• Experience leading hourly employees in a manufacturing, shop, or unionized environment.
• Experience in machine shop operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and credibility across the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations for the 2nd shift manufacturing team supporting Plant 2 combustors for defense engines, including ~15 hourly employees.
• Provide front-line leadership in an off-shift environment, ensuring engagement and meeting daily objectives.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity through adherence to standard work and processes.
• Coach, give feedback, and recognize team performance; address issues in real time.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
