Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Pelham, AL is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead, train, and direct a team on the factory floor. You will monitor daily output, coach staff, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure smooth shift handoffs.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to engage with the team on the production floor to drive performance and improvements.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, Production Lead, Lead Operator, or similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, assign, and direct 2nd shift production employees Stay actively involved in day-to-day production
• Maintain a safe, productive, and positive work environment
• Hold employees accountable for safety, attendance, performance, quality, and workplace policies
• Monitor production goals, workflow, downtime, and shift performance
• Troubleshoot basic production and equipment issues
• Work alongside the production team when needed
