Position Overview

The role of the Production Supervisor involves managing the efficient transformation of raw materials into finished products, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and operational.

Shift Details: This is a second shift position, with some weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth and timely processing of raw materials and shipment of finished products.
• Maintain and oversee the proper functioning of processing equipment.
• Address equipment breakdowns promptly, coordinating with the Maintenance team for repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Meet individual and departmental goals and objectives.
• Adhere to and enforce company safety regulations, prioritize safety, and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Assist in accident investigations and provide recommendations to the Plant Safety Committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or Associate's Degree.
• Experience in labor relations, leadership, and training.
• Strong knowledge of production maintenance and repair practices.

Must Have: Experience in a protein manufacturing, rendering, or chemical environment.
