Job summary

Biomerics is a world-class manufacturer and polymer solutions provider for medical devices. We’re seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and lead a team to meet targets.

You will supervise staffing, coordinate workflows, and partner with Quality, HR, and Maintenance to resolve challenges. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in leadership within manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and engagement.
• Monitor production or operational metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, HR, Maintenance) to resolve operational challenges.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, including equipment, staffing, or process disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on operational performance.

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements
• Knowledge of operational processes, safety standards, and quality systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, IQMS, or similar)
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Must attend leadership training as provided by Biomerics.
• Training on inspection equipment
• Blue Print reading.
• Previous leadership is desirable but not a must.
