Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established printing company in the Raleigh area that is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This hands-on leader will guide a production team to improve efficiency while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will supervise daily operations, coach a diverse team, plan workloads, monitor performance, and ensure SOPs and cGMPs are followed in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience supervising or leading employees in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to monitor performance, prioritize tasks, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production operations ensuring production goals, quality standards, and customer deadlines are met.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees, including press operators, setup personnel, inspectors, material handlers, and ink technicians.
• Plan and assign work to ensure efficient workflow throughout the shift.
• Monitor production performance, including waste, downtime, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), and established safety guidelines.
• Provide training, coaching, performance feedback, and support with employee relations and problem resolution.
• Monitor attendance and timekeeping while coordinating staffing needs to maintain production efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods, equipment utilization, operating procedures, and overall performance.
• Communicate production results, challenges, and operational updates to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience supervising or leading employees in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, workplace safety, and manufacturing procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to monitor production performance, prioritize tasks, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with AS400 is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the production environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
