Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to plan, direct and coordinate all production activities onsite. You will schedule, train and manage staff, ensure product quality and safety compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work long shifts (10-hour days, 6–7 days as needed), and experience with MS Office and ERP systems to drive efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to motivate and direct people.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of materials based on projected requirements.
• Administer company policies, work rules, and labor contracts in a fair and consistent manner.
• Meet Quality goals relating to food safety and quality, as well as internal and external audit results improvements.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with HACCP regulations, quality specifications, and USDA guidelines.
• Make recommendations for improvements to procedures, methods, facilities, equipment, and other matter relating to the effectiveness of the production areas.
• Coordinate and supervises activities of the personnel and determine work assignments efficiently.
• Complete orientation and training thoroughly, timely, and effectively.
• Meet all efficiency goals related to yields, labor costs and inedible.
• Provide effective leadership and direction adhering to safety policies and meeting safety goals.
• OH Costs (Indirect labor & supply costs) are controlled as directed.
• Complete administrative functions accurately and timely.
• Effectively communicates and collaborates with all departments.
• Must be able to work 10-hour days and 6 to 7-day weeks as needed.
• Accept special projects and completes them promptly.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience or Training:

High level of organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct people.

Technology/Equipment:

Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or Training:

1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in conflict resolution and experience working in a union environment.

Technology/Equipment:

Experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
