Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Marshfield, WI is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to oversee plant activities and supervise overall production. Mon-Thurs 2:30PM-12:30AM, leading a team to meet KPIs using production boards and lean practices.

You'll provide coaching, ensure quality adherence, manage staffing, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with leadership. Strong communication, supervision, and ERP familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or HS diploma with supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing supervision in wood/metal or similar.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive environment of engaged employees.
• Provide leadership; review metrics; address misses with countermeasures.
• Maintain Tier Board data integrity and lean standards adherence.
• Perform lean process audits to verify standards.
• Provide training, demonstration and coaching on lean tools.
• Assess talent needs and provide development opportunities.
• Communicate regularly; give feedback and ongoing support.
• Ensure effective cross-level communication throughout the process.
• Direct production activities per schedule and priorities for max resources.
• Suggest improvements to production methods to boost productivity and reduce scrap.
• Assist employees in procedures and proper use of equipment.
• Support quality policies and adherence to standards.
• Interview, hire and develop operations staff; handle discipline per policy.

[forteopenings.com]**What You'll Do**You will oversee plant activities, supervise the overall production, and delegate work assignments to ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) are identified, structured and addressed.
