Winona Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Green Bay, WI to lead the Slice Department. You will supervise a team to meet quality and productivity goals, while ensuring safety and adherence to GMP and food safety standards.

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is the first level of supervision over production operation. This position is responsible for leading and directing employees to safely and efficiently meet quality and production standards for the assigned department. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to motivate and engage employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system experience preferred. Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred, or two to five years of progressively responsible related experience. General knowledge of cost-effective manufacturing principles or management; knowledge and experience in planning and supervising operations.
