Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Superintendent Trainee (2nd Shift) at The Broadway Complex. You will be trained to become the next Superintendent, with responsibility for supervising the production team, meeting goals, and ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to policies.

Strong leadership and a drive for continuous improvement are essential as you collaborate across departments and shifts. Requirements include 1–2 years of supervisory experience in the food industry, a High School degree

Qualifications

• 1–2 years proven supervisory experience in the food industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School degree or equivalent required.
• Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal; bilingual skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed production goals set forth by plant management.
• Directly supervise hourly production team members and ensure training to product specs.
• Monitor procedures, safety, and cleanliness; provide feedback as needed.
• Ensure food safety, HR, and safety policy compliance for all team members.
• Promote continuous improvement and team ownership of processes.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing and other Superintendents to meet orders and quality standards.
