Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company in Ohio seeks a Utility Support (Asitrade Tech Level I) to assist in the overall production of the machine and ensure quality of output on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include monitoring adhesion tests, line registration, and monthly PM tasks while communicating adjustments to operators. A high school diploma is required, with 2nd shift availability and basic MS Office skills; overtime and a comprehensive benefits package are typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; communicate adjustments to operators.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Prior die cut experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor starch adhesion on SF side with X test quality check.
• Monitor glue adhesion on DF side with edge pull quality checks.
• Monitor registration and communicate adjustments to operators.
• Understand line clearance and next order setup on the stacker.
• Perform monthly PM tasks on the stacker section.
• Work safely and follow company policies; assist operators as needed.
• Overtime as required.
