Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Utility Support associate on 2nd shift to help ensure efficient production and quality output on the stacker line. The role focuses on monitoring adhesion, registration, line clearance, and setup while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, be able to read technical documents, perform basic math, and use MS Office tools. Die cut experience is preferred and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be available for 2nd shift.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; write routine reports.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements in various units.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Prior die cut experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor starch and glue adhesion with quality checks.
• Ensure proper line clearance and next order setup.
• Communicate adjustments to operators for registration and alignment.
• Perform monthly PM tasks on the stacker section.
• Maintain safe, efficient work practices and assist operators as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
