Job summary

Moog Inc. in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Operator to assemble and test components on site. You will follow manufacturing documentation, operate equipment, and ensure quality during the shift.

Required are a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent English comprehension and basic math). A mechanical aptitude, good dexterity and attention to detail are essential. Moog offers a robust benefits package with shift differential and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; if not, ability to understand English instructions and perform basic math.
• Quality-conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
• Correctly store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
• Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes.
• Complete paperwork required for each part, accurately & legibly.
• Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures, Quality History Tag Instructions, or rework router.
