Job summary

Moog in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Operator to work onsite. You will perform basic assembly, follow documented procedures, and maintain tools and equipment while ensuring accurate paperwork and calibration records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or demonstrated English comprehension), be quality focused with strong dexterity, and be capable of performing basic electrical tests and soldering per blueprints.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English; perform basic arithmetic.
Quality conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

Complete basic assembly operations using manufacturing documentation.
Store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
Solder, read blueprints, and use microscopes.
Complete paperwork required for each part accurately and legibly.
Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures.
