Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Production Operator-2 for its onsite facility in Blacksburg, VA. You will perform basic assembly, document work, and operate electrical test equipment while maintaining tools and materials.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or demonstrated ability to follow English instructions) with quality focus, mechanical aptitude, and dexterity. Soldering and reading blueprints are part of the daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• Quality conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
• Able to perform basic assembly and follow manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
• Correctly store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
• Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
• Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes.
• Complete paperwork required for each part, accurately & legibly.
• Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures.
