Job summary

Abbott is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift manufacturing role at the Columbus, Ohio plant within the Nutrition division. You will implement and maintain the quality and safety system while producing liquid nutrition products for adults and children.

You will perform material handling, CIP/COP processes, and operate related equipment, ensuring compliance with FDA/OSHA and Abbott policies. Strong mechanical aptitude and plant experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of food processing methods and documentation requirements.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and operate PV equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a plant production environment (food/drug/bev preferred).
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality and safety system.
• Manufacture liquid adult, pediatric and medical nutritional products.
• Handle raw ingredients, weigh, stage, and dispense materials; operate scales and pumps.
