Job summary

Mayzo is seeking a Production Manager (2nd Shift) at the Mayzo Operations Center in Walterboro, SC. The role leads all production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high quality while coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Operations leadership.

Responsibilities include planning staffing, monitoring production metrics, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related field or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S principles.
• Strong safety knowledge (OSHA) and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to analyze production data and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet schedules safely and efficiently.
• Plan staffing, workflow, and priorities to maximize productivity.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, inventory transactions, and documentation.
• Partner with Maintenance and Logistics to maximize uptime and material availability.
• Ensure adequate inventory of production supplies and consumables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with Quality and Operations leadership.
