Job summary

FoodTalentSolutions is conducting a search for a Second Shift Production Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing food manufacturer. This role serves as the senior production leader during second shift, providing oversight of manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and operational performance objectives are consistently achieved.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people and driving results in a fast-paced food

Qualifications

• Production or Operations Management experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience leading large hourly production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience partnering with Quality, Maintenance, and other plant functions to achieve production goals.
• Continuous improvement mindset with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar operational excellence experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee second-shift production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Provide hands-on leadership and develop staff to achieve performance objectives.
• Lead approximately 60 hourly employees and coordinate with Plant Manager.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance and other functions to meet production goals.
