Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Iowa City, IA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for the 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm).

You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized forms and labels machinery to meet demanding production schedules. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 4–5 years of experience, and skills in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and fabrication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Four to five years' experience in maintenance or similar roles.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electronics and pneumatics.
• Proficient with Windows-based PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and audits.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; respond to errors promptly.
• Assist with upgrades and participate in maintenance projects.
• Maintain repair records, calibrations, tests, and settings.
• Lead training for technicians and support upgrades.
