Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for the Iowa City, IA location on 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm–11:00pm). The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of label machinery to ensure safe, efficient production.

Starting pay is $22.37 per hour, with a $2 per hour shift differential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant mechanical/electrical training, with four to five years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical and/or electronic courses preferred.
• Typically four to five years of experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and audits.
• Troubleshoot electrical and/or mechanical issues.
• Assist with repairs and upgrades of equipment.
• Train and support other technicians and Level 3 staff.
• Lead local engineering upgrades and projects.
• Maintain repair and calibration records.
