Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Franklin, WI is seeking a Production Line Lead for a new 340,000 square foot facility opening in 2023. You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing, ensure orders are produced on schedule, and maintain GMP, HACCP, and safety standards across the line.

You will monitor quality, perform data entry on production reports, manage inventory, and support continuous improvement while working with a team committed to food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with production processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work required overtime.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented and a team player.
• Basic numerical and analytical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Effective communication and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of safety methods and procedures.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and handling chemicals according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities within the department.
• Supervise production lines to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S policies.
• Perform recordkeeping, inventory management, and order tracking.
• Maintain a safe, orderly workspace and adhere to industry standards.
• Conduct quality checks and report issues to supervisor.
• Ensure product packaging meets customer specs and production sheets.
• Monitor finished product quality and maintain sanitary equipment and facility.
• Read production worksheets and keep area neat and organized.
• Attend safety and departmental meetings and sanitize lines as needed.
