Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Franklin, Wisconsin, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility.

You will supervise maintenance staff on assigned shifts and support a 24/7 operation, guiding planning, work direction, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with plant engineers and management to improve safety, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness, while managing capital projects and maintaining PLCs, ammonia/refrigeration systems, and

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years industrial maintenance experience within Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage industry.
Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
Experience with boilers, refrigeration, PLCs, electrical systems; read schematics and ladder logic.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with Plant Engineer, Maintenance Manager, and facility management to improve safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness.
Supervises maintenance and capital projects for the site.
Maintains production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventive maintenance.
Ensures utilities are in proper working order to support production.
Enforces safety, food safety, and regulatory policies.
Provides management of employees including selection, development and performance.
