Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) for the Concord, NC area. Lead daily production operations in assigned departments, directing work, enforcing policies, and promoting employee development.

You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost control while coordinating with teams to meet production plans and budget targets. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, develop and motivate staff.
• Organizational and time management skills; handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize work.
• Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted production flow and high-quality output within manufacturing limits.
• Administer company rules and union contract provisions fairly and consistently.
• Educate employees on safe processes, environmental compliance, and health and safety issues.
• Provide leadership for quality and accountability for the total quality environment.
• Promote cross-training and continuous improvement across the workforce.
• Plan and control manpower, machines, and resources to meet production plans.
• Ensure equipment, tooling, and facilities are maintained and clean.
