Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Concord, NC. The role oversees daily production operations, drives safety, quality and efficiency, and works to meet the production plan while managing manpower, equipment, and materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a manufacturing environment with at least two years leading others.
• Strong leadership with ability to guide, develop and motivate staff to achieve results.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of production operations in assigned departments, cells or areas.
• Plan, assign and direct work; reward and discipline employees.
• Maintain uninterrupted production flow and quality within economical constraints.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance; promote continuous improvement.
• Meet production plan; optimize manpower, machines and other resources; manage budget.
• Maintain equipment and tooling and ensure preventive maintenance.
• Foster cross-training and teamwork to increase flexibility across manufacturing processes.
