Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years in a formal leadership position.
• 2 years of experience in plastics or fabrication environment is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a union setting, when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise production personnel to achieve safety, quality and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment, audit unsafe conditions and enforce safety policies.
• Execute production priorities per schedule to meet customer demands.
• Direct plant floor activities to optimize material and labor utilization.
• Respond promptly to quality and personnel issues affecting parts or processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to review operations and reports.
• Maintain high visibility on the plant floor and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote LEAF programs and employee engagement to foster a positive workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
