Job summary

Mayzo Production Manager (2nd Shift) leads all production operations at the Mayzo Operations Center in Walterboro, SC. The role drives safety, efficiency, and quality, partnering with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Operations leadership to exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Lean, CI, 5S, and ISO compliance, with 5+ years of leadership and 3+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
5+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
3+ years supervisory experience.
Lean, CI, and 5S knowledge.
Strong safety and OSHA knowledge.
Data-driven decision making and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production activities to meet schedules safely and efficiently.
Plan staffing, workflow, and priorities to maximize productivity.
Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions.
Maintain production records, inventory transactions, and documentation.
Partner with Maintenance and Logistics to maximize uptime and material availability.
Ensure adequate inventory of production supplies and consumables.
Ensure activities comply with batch records, SOPs, and work instructions.
Investigate variances in yields and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support ISO quality standards and maintain required documentation.
