Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years production/plant management experience in a manufacturing/union environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate ability in maintaining positive employment relations
• Maintain a high level of integrity
• Excellent organizational and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to meet quality, efficiency and scrap targets
• Coordinate with Coaches and Team Leaders to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure operators follow SWIs and drive 5S and waste reductions
• Drive materials flow and proper inventory levels including FIFO
• Lead Lean/Kaizen training and cross-training to enable 100% job rotations
• Develop Team Leaders to be promotable successors to Coach roles
• Drive automated manufacturing performance and issue resolution with the team
