Job summary

Texas Hydraulics, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a diverse team in our heavy manufacturing facility. You will guide operations on the 2nd shift, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting production targets.

Reports to the day-shift manager and collaborates to optimize methods, train staff, and resolve issues. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and commitment to our values of Trust, Teamwork and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse groups of individuals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate up to 30 production employees on the 2nd shift.
• Ensure safe working conditions and enforce safety standards.
• Meet daily KPIs and analyze root causes for misses; implement countermeasures.
• Coordinate with day shift manager to execute production schedules.
• Inspect parts/products for conformance and adjust equipment as needed.
• Develop and implement improvements to methods, equipment, and processes.
