Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor to manage manufacturing operations and material movements through the plant to meet customer requirements. You will coordinate production control, workforce planning, and problem-solving to drive performance and yield.

This role requires leading the team after hours, ensuring standard work and safety, notifying progress between shifts, and maintaining inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing shifts and coordinating production control.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive process improvements.
• Proven track record of meeting targets for reliability, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive attitude toward plant targets regarding reliability, accountability, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Oversee setup and operation of the assigned shift based on 1st shift input.
• Lead team independently after normal business hours when needed.
• Ensure standard work, policies, and procedures are followed on 2nd shift.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to maintenance and identify performance gaps.
• Document/report production and quality requirements and any gaps.
• Maintain inventory control and transactions across manufacturing.
• Ensure the team is punctual and productive.
