Job summary

Verus Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift in Wichita, KS to oversee production areas, ensure timely delivery, and uphold quality objectives. You will manage staffing, monitor metrics, and drive improvements while motivating the team to achieve company goals.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and coordination with Production Management. Experience with ERP or inventory systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams and ensure parts produced on time, on budget, and with quality.
• Mentoring and development of employees.
• Identification of constraints and development of work around plans.
• Validate time and cost standards.
• Motivate workforce to meet objectives.
• Assist Production Manager with hiring and employee retention decisions.
• Process Leader: lead with confidence and take calculated risks.
• Monitor operation of production equipment to assure efficiency, safety and quality standards.
• Observe all safety policies and practices.
