Chief Buildings Plant in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Lead Person for the 2nd shift. This role supports daily operations, oversees production, and mentors team members to meet safety and quality standards.

The Lead Person resolves issues, maintains schedules, and applies company policies while using the IFS ERP to streamline workflows. A High School Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
• Leadership and organizational skills with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production schedules are met.
• Guide and motivate teams, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Understand production processes, quality control methods, and tools.
• Resolve issues impacting production efficiency or quality.
• Operate safely and maintain adherence to company policies; utilize IFS ERP.
