Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead frontline manufacturing operations on the assigned shift. The role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while serving as the link between plant leadership and hourly staff.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong safety mindset, and proven ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. This position is on the manufacturing floor, not an office role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by leading meetings, toolbox talks, training, and incident reporting with root cause analysis.
• Maintain quality and enforce procedures; identify out-of-control processes and communicate issues in writing.
• Supervise and hold the team accountable for area results and shift discipline.
• Oversee shift operations, monitor equipment, and complete production/timekeeping reports.
• Lead process-improvement projects and provide hands-on training to hourly staff.
• Communicate area status and priorities to oncoming supervisors during handoffs.
