Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a Leader I for the 2nd shift at our facility. The role reports to Production Supervisors and focuses on guiding the line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency, and completing daily inspections and SOP compliance.

Responsibilities include leading line improvements, training staff, monitoring production goals, coordinating with the control room, and handling end-of-shift paperwork. Candidates should have high school diploma and meat processing experience preferred.

• Able to discern and pay attention to quality of product.

Responsibilities

• Improve efficiencies within the lines.
• Lead stretching during the shift.
• Ensure area follows proper company safety standards and report any/all non-compliance immediately to area supervisor.
• Assist in reporting safety incident details.
• Training, development and enforcement of all area SOPs.
• Ensure required production and efficiency goals are gathered, verified and met for shift.
• Monitor Lines to insurance continues flow of product.
• Communicate with supervisor on downtime and why.
• Communicate with Control Room on equipment issues.
• End of the day paper work and turn into Control Room.
• All other duties assigned by management.
