Job summary

Cenveo is hiring an experienced Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift at our Cleveland, OH envelope manufacturing facility. The role leads production staff including operators, QC, and technicians to maintain a steady output.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in production and can handle Saturdays during busy seasons. This exempt position requires effective coaching, safety focus, and strong communication within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; experience may substitute.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid safety, quality, and lean manufacturing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safety: ensure shift safety and compliance with plant policies; assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Employee relations: coach and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations and training.
• Payroll: monitor and update the timekeeping system (ADP).
• Production: execute and communicate the production plan; monitor staffing and equipment needs.
• Lean leadership: drive continuous improvement and reduce scrap and rework.
• High performance workplace: promote teamwork and customer-focused quality.
• Quality: track defect rates and enforce standard work and inspections.
• Schedule: provide coverage across shifts, including Saturdays as needed.
