Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience with precision machining and assembly processes.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of machinists and production technicians, including quality and engineering.
• Maintain shop organization and 5S audits.
• Provide effective passdown status between shifts.
• Work with production control to understand deliverables and deploy resources effectively to support on time delivery
• Work with manufacturing engineering to continuously improve production flow
• Work with quality to understand status of nonconformities and support closure to move forward to the next step
• Identify production roadblocks and escalate to appropriate teams
• Hold team accountable to adhering to the written production processes
• Identify and support execution of continuous improvement projects
• Identify and escalateto risks in the production processes
• Maintain department performance metrics
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Work schedule will be Monday-Thursday 2pm-12am, overtime on Friday as required
