Job summary

Magna International in Muncie, IN is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily assembly operations on the production floor. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while coaching hourly teams and coordinating with Team Leads.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing supervision, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on TPM/5S experience. This role requires flexible scheduling including overtime and weekends to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting (automotive preferred).
• Experience leading daily assembly production in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coach, lead, and motivate hourly teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Perform attendance reviews and staffing adjustments at shift start.
• Reallocate team members to match skill levels and production needs.
• Collaborate with Team Leads to align goals and shift responsibilities.
• Identify bottlenecks and maintain material flow with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain TPM activities including equipment care and documentation.
• Ensure shift rosters, training, and skill matrices are up to date.
• Promote 5S standards and safe, clean working conditions.
