Job summary

RR Donnelley is hiring an Inserter Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm). You will adjust orders, prepare materials, verify customer-specific jobs, and coordinate handling of non-mailable pieces to ensure timely delivery. You’ll also organize finished products and support production planning and training.

The role requires attention to detail, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior inserter experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience, 3 years preferred in related role.
• Knowledge of Inserter machine computer functions and feeder setup.
• Prior Inserter Operator experience preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel/Outlook/Word).
• Strong communication and organization; detail oriented.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk most of shift.

Responsibilities

• Adjust manufacturing orders and processes to improve workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Organize and prepare orders for delivery to subsequent processes.
• Coordinate handling of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time and ensure on-time delivery.
• Verify customer-specific jobs on computers, including opening and closing files.
• Organize and expedite finished products from off-line machines with proper labeling.
• Maintain department files and assist with production planning and training.
