Job summary

You will read electrical diagrams, detect defects, perform material handling, and keep accurate time, quality and safety records while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The position integrates Kaizen and 5S initiatives and requires adherence to all safety policies to support our energy efficiency mission.

Qualifications

• Plan, wire and test wiring installations of panel boards and control equipment to various specifications and codes.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Detect unusual conditions or material defects and report to proper supervision.
• Perform necessary material handling associated with the job.
• Maintain necessary time, quality, quantity and other records.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.
• May participate in Kaizen events, 5S programs and problem solving exercises.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA’s.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.
• Participate in special work teams, Kaizen events and 5S programs.
• Follow all safety policies and JHRA’s.
